Ludlow Fine Book Fair

The Ludlow Fine Book Fair runs bi-annually over a Saturday and Sunday with around 35 stands celebrating books – covering bookbinders, presses, dealers, suppliers, and related organisations.

The 2026 Fair will be held on 17th and 18th October 2026 in the Clive Pavilion at the Ludlow Racecourse, just outside the picturesque market town of Ludlow, Shropshire. The Fair host is Paul Kidson, Ludlow Bookbinders, and any enquires should be directed to Kay: kay@ludlowbookbinders.co.uk or sign-up via the portal below.

Open to visitors

The book fair is open to the public from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 17th October & 10am to 4pm on Sunday 18th October, and entry is free.

On site you can walk around the varied stalls to see letterpress printers and bookbinders showcasing their work. You can commission a bespoke book or photo album, or buy an antiquarian book or associated art supply such as fine leathers, marbled papers or quality stationary.

There is a café on site, toilets and free parking. An enjoyable day trip for all the family, just outside Ludlow.

There will be live demonstrations on bookbinding and box making.
